On September 9, representatives from Laurent Bakery, Royal Kaak, Invest Victoria, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Australia, and Bridor came together in Melbourne to mark an important milestone. The event focused on the new production line that Royal Kaak delivered for Laurent Bakery, as well as the continued development of Royal Kaak Australia & New Zealand.
A shared milestone
The gathering highlighted the strong collaboration between Laurent Bakery and Royal Kaak. What began as a shared ambition centered on quality, craftsmanship, and innovation has resulted in a modern production line that supports Laurent Bakery as it continues to expand its production activities.
During a tour of the bakery, attendees received a first look at the new line and saw how technology, expertise, and a shared vision come together in a single project.
International collaboration as a driving force
During the program, Steph van den Beld, Aart-Jan Hartman, and Laurent Boillon shared their perspectives on the collaboration and the future of the baking industry. The focus extended beyond the technical implementation of the project to include the value of long-term international collaboration.
The presence of representatives from Invest Victoria, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Australia, NBSO Melbourne, and Bridor emphasized the importance of collaboration among business, government, and industry.
Connecting the Netherlands, Australia, and France
The project brings together several areas of expertise: Dutch technology and engineering, Australian entrepreneurship, and French baking expertise. This combination was the common thread throughout the event and demonstrates what is possible when organizations combine their knowledge and experience around a shared ambition.
In addition to celebrating the successful collaboration with Laurent Bakery, the gathering also marked an important step in the continued development of Royal Kaak Australia & New Zealand. The planned local presence in 2027 underscores the ambition to provide even better support to customers in the region and further strengthen long-term partnerships.
Royal Kaak thanks Laurent Bakery, Invest Victoria, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Australia, NBSO Melbourne, Bridor, and everyone involved for their contribution to this special day. The gathering was not only a celebration of a successful project, but above all a demonstration of what is possible when international partners invest together in innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainable growth.
