With a symbolic tree planting on September 10, the start of construction of the new Kaak Silos & Dosing facility on Holsteinstraat in Zwolle was officially marked. During a festive gathering, representatives of Kaak Silos & Dosing, Royal Kaak, Rein Vastgoed, Aan de Stegge Twello, and the Municipality of Zwolle came together to celebrate this important milestone.
The choice of a beech tree as the ceremonial tree reflects the core values of the project: growth, connection, sustainability, and forward-looking entrepreneurship. The tree symbolizes not only the start of construction, but also the strong collaboration between all parties involved and the solid foundation for future development.
Since joining Royal Kaak in 2021, Kaak Silos & Dosing has experienced significant international growth. The new facility will provide the space needed to continue this development and further strengthen support for customers worldwide with innovative solutions for raw material storage, automated dosing technology, and related service and maintenance activities.
The new business complex will offer a modern and future-proof working environment, accommodating production, assembly, storage, and office functions. Particular attention has been given to sustainability, efficient energy use, and creating a comfortable workplace for employees. The new building is expected to be completed by mid-March 2027.
With this construction project, Kaak Silos & Dosing is taking an important step in the further development of the organization. The new location will provide the capacity needed to support future growth, further optimize processes, and serve customers around the world even more effectively.
