Kaak Silos & Dosing

Silowacht has been part of Royal Kaak under the banner of Kaak Silos & Dosing since 2021. The take-over was a vital asset, because whereas Kaak originally focused on the production process ‘from dough to truck’, Silowacht specialises in the phase before that: raw material storage and automated dosing technology in silo installations and 24/7 service and maintenance of these systems. With the addition of Silowacht, Kaak supplies the complete line, ‘from silo to truck’.

Silowacht evolved from the historic provincial town of Zwolle in the Netherlands to become one of the market leaders in the bakery sector within Benelux. After joining Royal Kaak, the organisation is venturing into new frontiers and global markets. That may seem like a major step, but it befits the region. As a Hanseatic city, Zwolle has been an important and busy hub of trade by water and land for centuries.
