Thursday 24th June 2021 was a special milestone in the history of Kaak, the family-owned company from the Achterhoek with its head office still located in Terborg (NL). That day the company celebrated its 175th anniversary and also bundled all specializations in the organization within one brand name: Kaak. Herewith Kaak strengthened its position as a unique and clear supplier and point of contact for all bakeries around the world.
On Friday the 29th of October Kaak was visited by a member of the provincial executive of Gelderland who brought very good news that they may now call themselves ‘Royal Kaak’!
The predicate Royal was granted by his majesty King Willem Alexander, and symbolizes respect, appreciation, and confidence in the company. This predicate is only assigned to companies which have proved to have an important position in their area of expertise, are of national importance and have been existing for more than 100 years. The predicate is granted for a period of 25 years and can be prolonged in the future.
For Kaak, the predicate is the crown on its 175th anniversary which was achieved with the support from previous generations and all present employees. Kaak is looking forward to supporting you as Royal Kaak for many years to come.
