Kaak is also unique when it comes to technical maintenance combined with cleaning, as these disciplines are combined. This makes the work a lot more efficient: the technician who cleans up sees where maintenance is needed and can carry it out immediately. Kaak’s technicians are experts on silos. Every corner is inspected and they immediately notice aspects that require maintenance. That saves time and money. The maintenance and cleaning of silos can be carried out by the same specialist; there is no need to make several trips to one location. The result is the minimum possible downtime of your production systems.

Scratch-resistant, high strength, hygienic, highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation and a long lifespan are all characteristics of Kaak’s stainless steel storage silo. This makes the silos extremely suitable for use in the food industry.

The stainless steel storage silo is welded on the inside as well as the outside. The welds on the interior of the silo are acid-etched and passivated. In addition to acid-etching and passivation, the welds on the exterior are also brushed to create tight “brush marks” along the welds.

Hard inside and out. These are our stainless steel silos. This may sound logical, but it is not self-evident. With the right equipment, high-end silos are provided that are worth the investment. They have a finish layer (2B) that makes our outdoor storage silos scratch-resistant, very strong, hygienic and highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation. This ensures a long lifespan. The silo is welded inside and out to ensure this quality. The quality offered for outdoor storage silos is very high as they are used in the bakery industry.

A big bag storage silo is supplied for the storage of big bag raw materials, into which the entire contents can be poured. By matching the silo contents of 1,900 litres – 6,000 litres to the daily requirements, supply can be done during the day shift, thereby reducing the number of full-time employees required. Supply is carried out by means of a big-bag hoist and, if the height is limited, by means of an unloading station with connected plug conveying. The INO discharge system ensures that the products can be dosed from the silos safely and accurately.

Depending on the product properties and installation options, we also supply big bag unloading stations where the contents of the big bag also serve as stock.

The universal liquid BVM installation doses grease- and/or water-based enhancing agents. These enhancing agents may range in static viscosity from 0.11 to 3. Applicable at ambient temperatures from 15 to 30 °C. The density is around 1.0 kg/dm³.

CIP cleanable

The universal liquid BVM installation is CIP cleanable. This means that the entire installation is designed so that an (external) CIP installation can be connected and that the components used are suitable for CIP cleaning. Research has shown that CIP cleaning is necessary as proteins are handled. These proteins leave a biofilm on components, pipes and the like.

The ingredients are delivered in containers. The containers will/can be set up in the raw materials warehouse. A total of 5 products can be dosed on three bread lines. An automatic switch-over unit is provided for the 5 products which automatically connects the pump to the connected full container when the container is empty.

We produce stainless steel storage tanks for the storage of liquid products, such as yeast, desem, syrups, jelly, brine, etc., which are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and are especially suitable for the food industry. Depending on the product specifications, they can be double-walled, traced and insulated. The tank is cooled or heated to the required dosage temperature, depending on the process.

In order to be able to store bagged goods raw materials, a big bag storage silo is supplied into which the entire contents can be poured. By matching the silo contents of 200 litres – 500 litres to the daily requirements, supply can be done during the day shift, thereby reducing the number of full-time employees required.
